Dark plywood and creamy, hand-made Lokta paper from Nepal—this contrast is no accident. It is precisely this contrast that gives Hikari its depth and distinctive Japanese feel. The paper lets light through softly and warmly, while the parchment layer on the inside reinforces the form and warms the glow of the bulb. When turned on, it changes the mood of the room. When turned off, it still catches the eye. It works well as the main light in a bedroom, above a dining table, or in a living room that likes to breathe.

Natural materials in their purest form

• FSC-certified birch plywood, cut with exceptional precision.

• Handmade Lokta paper in a natural, creamy shade that beautifully filters the light from a light bulb. Lokta paper is delicate in appearance—but not in character.

• Reinforced on the inside with Italian parchment, it does not warp over time and is resistant to damage. The form remains the form.

• A dry cloth is all you need for regular cleaning. No chemicals required.
